School Season is upon us

Welcome to the class blog! I hope you find this a good source of information, a fun place to find out what your child is doing, and to read selected pieces of the class' work.

COMING UP!

Book Fair is this week: August 30th-Sept 3rd. Children are more inclined to read if they have access to books that interest them. Every purchase made supports our school library as well. Classroom donations are always a welcome treat! :)

Open House! Wednesday September 1st from 68pm. Please come in and see what your child has accomplished so far. Grades will be posted and I will be giving out your child's number to check grades. I hope to see each and every one of you Wednesday night! the book fair will also be open during this time.

No School Monday September 6th-Labor Day.

Starting on Tuesday September 7th we will begin reading our first chapter book Holes. I have a class set so no purchase is necessary. Reading each night will be added to the homework log. We will begin reading Esperanza Rising after the Fall break, October 17th. Please make sure your child has a copy of this book before that date.
